Most Organizations are subject to bylaws and regulations regarding fundraising.
We’re not!
Fundraising or fund raising (also development) is the process of soliciting and gathering contributions as money or other resources, by requesting donations from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or governmental agencies.
Fundraising benefits always sound like an easy way to make a lot of money in a short period of time. In actuality, they are often a tremendous amount of work for very little return. Why? Because benefits cost money to put on and often yield very little after all the bills are paid. The impressive amounts of dollars you hear announced at the end of the fundraising event are typically before the bills.
Typically there is a committee of volunteers that plans the benefit, perhaps secures items for an auction, plans the entertainment, rents a facility, determines the food and drink, sets the theme for the decorations and flowers, designs the invitations, helps create the guest list, and creates the needed buzz for the event. Often the committee will set the ticket prices, project the income, and often in its enthusiasm overlooks some of the costs involved and all the staff time. You can do successful fundraisers, but they typically require strong leadership from the staff and a tight rein on the budget.
Finally, the bylaws or a regulation may restrict what an organization is allowed to do for fundraising. This is why “The Greatest Fundraiser” was established.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
The Greatest Fundraiser is a branch of AmeriTeamUSA, a Nevada Corporation.
The mission of The Greatest Fundraiser is to make money and give money to targeted organizations in the local areas. All the members of subject organizations are invited to participate in this endeavor at their sole discretion and of course there are never any cost or risk to the members.
As a courtesy to any organization we always send an email regarding our intentions to donate to their organization.
As a private endeavor, we require no pre-approval and seek no endorsement from the beneficiary of the fundraising. When an organization receives the courtesy email the fundraiser has ALREADY started.
